YOU WOULD LIKE TO HOST ERASMUS+ aPPRENTICES? HERE ARE A FEW FACTS FOR YOUR INFORMATION:

how long is an erasmus+ apprenticeship?

Usually between 2- 4 weeks.

HOW OLD ARE THE APPRENTICES?

Usually of age, minors may apply with the consent of the company.

wHERE ARE THE APPRENTICES FROM?

In 2023, only German apprentices will be accepted. Apprentices from other EU-countries are welcome to apply for the following years.

WHAT JOB TRAINING DO THE APPRENTICES HAVE?

The applicants are apprenties or students of vocational schools, for which they embark on a Erasmus+ Apprenticeship.

In what sectors do the apprentices work.?

In 2023 only construction industry (electricians/metal workers), retail and office work. In the following years, we will expand to other fields.

How are the apprentices insuered?

All apprentices are insured in their home countries and therefore do not need to be seperately insured in Austria. In addition, the Erasmus+ program suggests their own insurance policy.

Do i have to pay the apprentices?

The apprentices are not entitled to remuneration, vacation days etc. Your business would not need to pay any contributions to a company pension scheme.

Erasmus+

The apprentices are considered Erasmus+ Trainees for mandatory apprenticeships without monetary benefits. The work is performed for learning and training purposes.
